Upgrade la.plume

To Version 5.5

5.5 is the latest version, with a slightly different file structure to previous versions so that installation is simplified and the setup can be edited online. Upgrading to 5.5 requires many of the existing files to be re-installed (and 2 new ones added). Exceptions are those you may have modified, asterisked*.

/cms/index.php
/cms/index.txt* (in version 5.5, generated on install)
/cms/index-sample.txt (inactive)
/cms/contact.php
/cms/admin/comments.php
/cms/admin/functions.php (new file)
/cms/admin/images.php
/cms/admin/index.php

/cms/inc/top.php
/cms/inc/tracking.php*

/readme.txt

To upgrade, upload all the files not asterisked. Over-write the old files with the new ones. If you have not modified an asterisked file, upload the new one too. Make sure you do not delete any other files that exist inside:

the /cms/ folder or
the /cms/comments/ folder

Then - depending on where you have installed the system - go to:

www.yourwebsite.com/cms/admin/setup.php or
www.yourwebsite.com/laplume/cms/admin/setup.php

and complete the upgrade.

‡In version 5.5 settings.php is not included in the download folder but is generated on install. If it already exists, do not delete it.
